John Cash, MD

John M. Cash, MD, is a dedicated and experienced physician who began his medical career as an Army medic, discovering a deep passion for patient care. He provides expert care to patients and medical oversight at HOOT HRT in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Cash's journey led him to the Saba University School of Medicine in The Bottom, Caribbean Netherlands, followed by a rigorous emergency medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Here, Dr. Cash distinguished himself as both a physician and a leader in the field of emergency medicine. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge is showcased by his certification from the Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Training Academy.

Currently, Dr. Cash is a cornerstone of excellence at HOOT HRT and in the emergency department. Together with his co-founder, Joe Hamm, PA, he is committed to addressing the critical needs of patients dealing with metabolic health issues, weight loss challenges, and overall wellness. Their mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives.

Dr. Cash's personal journey with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) provides him with unique insights into the shortcomings of primary care, especially concerning hormone imbalances and weight management.
